Spitz Design and Machine is a precision CNC and manual machine shop specializing in both prototype and short-run production machining. We work in a wide range of metals and plastics. We focus on jobs that require extreme precision coupled with fast turnaround. We typically work with clients in the medical, scientific, and electronics sectors.
In addition to machining from customer-supplied data, we can also design and then build a variety of jigs/fixtures and other tooling based on your needs. Besides the tooling itself, deliverables can include 3D parts and assemblies, as well as drawings and other documentation.
We can work from your sketches and/or 2D or 3D CAD data. We also offer design, documentation, and reverse-engineering services as needed.
We work with the following file formats:
Prototype and production machining
3D machining of complex, freeform geometries
Micro-machining/small-part machining using tools as small as 0.005” diameter
Machining in aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, copper, plastics—and more
Precision manual and CNC milling and turning
